Holocaust Resource Center Joins National Museum Network
勛圖窪蹋s Sara and Sam Schoffer Holocaust Resource Center recently joined a select nationwide group of organizations recognized for advancing Holocaust education and remembrance.
The Community of Holocaust Education Centers (CHEC) program consists of 86 Holocaust education and remembrance organizations across the country. These groups participate in training by the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, D.C., to learn about how its educational resources and historical content can be integrated into existing teacher professional development programs.
The national museum invited 勛圖窪蹋 to the CHEC program, making it the fourth in New Jersey and the only center based in the southern part of the state.
This relationship with 勛圖窪蹋 is really special because 勛圖窪蹋 developed one of the first programs to earn a college degree in studying the Holocaust, said Christina Chavarria, program manager for the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum. Its really wonderful to see this new chapter of supporting 勛圖窪蹋 through the CHEC program.
Irvin Moreno-Rodriguez, director of 勛圖窪蹋s center, said the HRC has always had a close relationship to the U.S. museum, but hes excited about the prospects that joining the network will bring to the university.
More than 100 Employers Connect with Students at Career Fair
The 勛圖窪蹋 Spring Career and Internship Fair filled the Sports Center on March 3 as students prepared to take the next step toward internships and full-time employment.
The fair began at 10 a.m., following a week of preparation opportunities offered by Career Education and Development. More than 130 students attended the universitys Resume Rush session on Feb. 25. Students also utilized the new Suit Closet to ensure they were professionally dressed for first impressions.
The spring fair typically attracts higher attendance because it is closer to graduation. This semester, 106 employers participated, and organizers anticipated between 800 and 1,000 student attendees. Employers represented a wide range of industries, offering internships, entry-level roles and networking connections.
Angelo Rifici 19, a branch manager for Enterprise Rent-A-Car who graduated from 勛圖窪蹋 with a degree in Marketing during the COVID-19 pandemic, returned to campus to connect with students.
Reflecting on entering the workforce during a period of uncertainty, Rifici explained that he intentionally sought out industries that remained stable.

Community Leaders to be Recognized at SWLC Awards Ceremony
Six professionals whose work fosters mentorship, inspires growth and invests in others will be recognized by the 勛圖窪蹋 Womens Leadership Council (SWLC) during the initiatives third annual Excellence in Mentoring Awards on Tuesday, March 24.
The awards ceremony, at 9 a.m. in the Fannie Lou Hamer Room at 勛圖窪蹋s Atlantic City campus, will honor the following recipients for their work within and outside of the university: Dr. Alexis Reyes 15, Mentoring Champion; Rita and Anthony Mack, Community Leadership; Terri Schieder 82, SWLC Impact Mentor; Eleonora Byrne, Class of 2026, SWLC Student Leadership; and Gayle Gross, Legacy Mentor.
SPOTLIGHT ON: DESISLAVA HRISTOVA-TOSHEVA
When Desislava Hristova-Tosheva met Mariana Smith, associate professor of Art at 勛圖窪蹋, during a printmaking workshop in Xian,
China, neither could have predicted that their shared interest in experimental techniques
would one day lead to a Fulbright opportunity in South Jersey. This spring semester,
Hristova-Tosheva, a professor at the National Academy of Art in Sofia, arrived at
勛圖窪蹋 as a Fulbright Scholar-in-Residence (S-I-R). She is the first Bulgarian scholar
to participate in the S-I-R Program since 1993, bringing her expertise in contemporary
printmaking and cross-cultural dialogue to the campus community.
A graduate of the National High School of Fine Arts Ilia Petrov in Sofia, she later earned a masters degree in Printmaking from the National Academy of Art in 1994, a period marked by profound political and cultural change in Eastern Europe.
I was a first-year student when the Berlin Wall fell, and democracy arrived. My father was a well-known printmaker, and I inherited my love for printmaking from him, as well as the smell of ink, which I literally grew up with, Hristova-Tosheva shared.

Future Educators Meet Opportunity at 勛圖窪蹋s Education Expo
The School of Education hosted its third annual Education Expo on Wednesday, March 4, in the Campus Center Event Room. Held in partnership with the Office for Career Education and Development, the event gave students the opportunity to connect with representatives from school districts and education providers across New Jersey and learn more about potential career paths and employment opportunities.

Styer Collects NJAC Outstanding Athlete Award; 12 Ospreys All-Conference
Twelve 勛圖窪蹋 student-athletes for NJAC all-conference honors in womens indoor track & field, highlighted by one major award. Five of the 12 勛圖窪蹋 competitors earned all-conference spots in two events apiece.
Elaina Styer was voted the G. Larry James Most Outstanding Athlete, becoming just the third Osprey to receive the NJACs top award in womens indoor track & field, joining Kim Marino in 2003 andKayla Kass in 2025. Styer also earned NJAC First Team honors by winning the pentathlon with a school-record total of 3,747 points, which currently ranks first in NCAA Division III.
Eva Morrison repeated as conference champion and earned NJAC First Team honors in the pole vault, clearing a personal-best 3.60 meters at the NJAC Championships.
The Ospreys placed third at the NJAC Championships, marking the programs 12th consecutive top-three finish.
Additional Ospreys who secured all-conference recognition include Megan Morris, Sydney Rick, Emma Petrolia, Maddy Valasek, Kayla Kass, Marlie DiPalma, Emma Conroy, Madison Pratt, Jessica Bruther and Sophia Cornell.
Fogg Named NJAC Most Outstanding Athlete; Eight Ospreys Honored
Eight 勛圖窪蹋 student-athletes for NJAC all-conference honors in mens indoor track & field, highlighted by one major award. Three of the eight 勛圖窪蹋 competitors earned all-conference accolades in two events apiece.
Ahmad Fogg was voted the G. Larry James Most Outstanding Athlete, becoming just the second 勛圖窪蹋 competitor to receive the NJACs top award for mens indoor track & field, joining Jared Lewis in 2016. The junior won conference titles in the long jump and triple jump to earn NJAC First Team honors in both events.
Fogg broke the 38-year-old school and NJAC record in the long jump with a distance of 7.54 meters, moving him into fourth in the nation. He also broke the NJAC meet record and moved into second in the nation in the triple jump with a distance of 15.17 meters.
The Ospreys placed third at the NJAC Championships for the seventh consecutive year.
Additional Ospreys who secured all-conference recognition include Joey Addeo, Landon Jenter, Patrick Storti, Conor Clifford, Shane Daley, Kyle Greenleaf and James Adams.

School of Education Hosts Climate Change Learning Collaborative Event
The School of Education invited K-12 school districts participating in the Climate Change Learning Collaborative to campus March 4 to share what they have learned through the universitys grant-funded project supporting implementation of New Jerseys Student Learning Standards in Climate Change. The three-year project has brought $1.9 million in funding to 勛圖窪蹋.
Project co-directors Kimberly Lebak, professor of Education, and Patty Weeks, director of 勛圖窪蹋s Southern Regional Institute & Educational Technology Training Center (SRI&ETTC), along with community partners including NJ Audubon, Save Barnegat Bay, The Wetlands Institute, Sustainable Jersey and the Center for Aquatic Sciences, provided presentations and networking opportunities for K-12 teachers and students. 勛圖窪蹋 undergraduate students preparing to teach in K-12 schools also participated in the event.

FAFSA Completion Appointments Available
Do your students need assistance completing their 26-27 FAFSA? The Office of Financial Aid is hosting several FAFSA Completion Appointments throughout the spring semester to assist students in completing their application for financial aid.
Appointments are available at 10 a.m., 11 a.m. and noon on March 31 and April 14. Additional appointments are offered at 1 p.m., 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. on March 19 and April 9. Evening appointments will be held at 6 p.m. on April 1.
Students and their FAFSA contributors are encouraged to attend ahead of the states April 15 deadline. Appointments can be scheduled at stockton.edu/contactfinaid through Ospreys Navigate using go勛圖窪蹋 portal login credentials.
Students Encouraged to 勛圖窪蹋 Early for 202627 Financial Aid
Its that time of year again! Please encourage your students to apply for 2026-27 financial aid as soon as possible. Filing early ensures students dont miss deadlines, receive their aid offer early and have plenty of time to complete requirements before the fall bill due date.
Anyone who received TAG or the 勛圖窪蹋 Promise in the 25-26 academic year must complete their 26-27 FAFSA or NJ Alternative Application by April 15, 2026, to be considered for those funds in 26-27. Please remind your students to file asap or they could miss out on thousands of dollars in free money!

Spring Break Shuttle Schedule
The shuttles between the Atlantic City and Galloway campuses will be operating on a reduced schedule during Spring Break, March 8-14.
The modified Atlantic City shuttle schedule for Spring Break will be the following: Atlantic City departures, 9 a.m., noon, 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. Regular service will resume Monday, March 16.
Galloway departures will be 10:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m., 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Regular service will resume at 5 p.m. on Sunday, March 15.
