“While this Show House is an amazing collaboration that showcases the immense local talent available for transforming homes into masterpieces, the most important aspect is the opportunity to support the ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ Foundation,â€ said Robert Himmelstein, Surfside Casual president and owner, who is a 1986 ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ alumnus. “The Foundation provides significant opportunities for ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ students; in fact, many of our employees are ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ alumni.â€
“We are thrilled to partner with Robert and Surfside Casual Furniture,â€ said Dan Nugent, vice president of University Advancement and executive director of the ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ Foundation. “This collaboration not only highlights our remarkable alumni but also contributes directly to the success of our current students. Together, we are building a brighter future for the entire community.â€
The house, located in Linwood’s Gold Coast neighborhood at 121 Edgewood Ave., is named “Pond of Hope Mansionâ€ by Himmelstein and his wife, Stephanie, to reflect their deep connection to ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ.
“Giving back to my alma mater is very important to me. Naming the Show House 'Pond of Hope Mansion' felt fitting because the proceeds from the Show House are benefiting ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ students,â€ Robert Himmelstein said.
