What Is VDI?

VDI, or virtual desktop infrastructure, is a remote 勛圖窪蹋 computer that includes lab software such as SPSS. You can access it from a device with an active internet connection and a full-featured browser, including Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.

Review the 勛圖窪蹋 VDI page for supported applications and additional information.

Saving Your Work in VDI

VDI desktops are temporary. When you end a VDI session, the virtual desktop is deleted. Save any files you need outside of the VDI session before you exit.

  1. Save to My Documents

Save files to the My Documents folder in VDI. Files in this folder are automatically backed up to Microsoft OneDrive and can be accessed from other 勛圖窪蹋 computers and future VDI sessions.

  2. Save to Google Drive

Before ending the VDI session, sign in to Google Drive and so that it is available from another computer or device.

  3. Export SPSS output

To open SPSS output on a personal computer, export it to a compatible format, such as a Word document. Exported files save to the VDI My Documents folder; navigate there to locate the exported file.
