Alumni Highlight - Sophia LoPresti

Sophia LoPresti has served as Head of Briefing in the Office of New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy, where she curated and wrote briefing materials to prepare the Governor, First Lady, and Lieutenant Governor for their day-to-day operations. She also worked as an Advance Aide, where she staffed all three Principals at their public facing events throughout the state. Previously, she worked as an Advisor on the 勛圖窪蹋 50th Anniversary Exhibit Committee, a Customer Service Coordinator for Marshalls Convenience Stores, and as a Curatorial Assistant at Hellenic College Holy Cross. LoPresti graduated from 勛圖窪蹋 with both a bachelors in historical studies, plus a minor in Latin, and with a masters in American studies, summa cum laude. Her bachelors thesis The Enemy of Independence: An Analysis of Americas Forgotten Founding Father was awarded most exemplary undergraduate thesis in 2019.
The skills I mastered in the School of Arts & Humanities Program thoroughly prepared me to kick start my career. The opportunities it offers, paired with its array of course content, have led me to find success in both higher education and in my professional capacity. I highly recommend this program to any hard working individual willing to challenge their perspectives, hone their critical thinking skills, and flourish as a student and leader.
